ABOUT
I am a retired Substitute Teacher - Worked with students in small groups who had problems with reading. This is different than a classroom. You will be able to take these lessons from the comfort of your home. You let me know what time is best for you to be tutored. I had to be at least 2-3 hours. You need time to understand what the program is about and what you are required to do. This is no passing through "learn how to read lessons". I will work with you until you make some kind of progress and are able to be able to read on your own.
I will work with what your budget is for these lessons.
I need you to contact me with your name, an email or phone number to reach you, so we can discuss what you need and where you are in reading. Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed by your age. Whether you are a child or adult or senior adult, it's about learning how to read. Of course you need to speak English and read English words.
Once we establish a schedule and worked out a plan for your budget, I will then email you the ebook - "Learn How To Read - A Self Help English Language Workbook which is free. Their are 5 Lessons in this workbook with worksheets at the end of the workbook that students can use for assignments. You will need the workbook to start the lessons.
This program is designed to help individuals who struggle with reading , including both children and adults. Participants will address challenges with pronunciation of words, learn how to break words up into syllables, and receive references, links to additional resources. This program provides step-by-step easy instructions to follow from the workbook for each lesson. Practical exercises and supportive materials to build confidence and improve reading skills at any age, for adults as well as children. For children I prefer to start at age 6 to work with. I hope that students will have acquire the skills they need to improve their reading after completing this program and access tools to continue learning.
How well the students read or improve in their reading after the completion of the program, depends on the student listening to the tutor's instructions and doing their assignments and other resources provided.

Upon completion of the 10 week program - student will given a personal certificate by the tutor - As I stated before I am a tutor, I have worked in the Boston, Massachusetts Public Schools for 10 years - Presently resides in New Jersey. This is not a New Jersey Certified Program - The certificate will be a reward that I will give to the student who has finished the 10 week program showing progress in their reading
